Our Favorite Resources for Booking Trips
Here are our go-to resources for booking our own trips!
Hotels
For hotels, we generally use Booking.com. Their website is easy to use and has helpful hotel reviews, photos, maps, and descriptions. By joining their free loyalty program, you can save at least 10% on every booking immediately (and after five bookings, you can save even more!).
With Booking.com, you can also easily reschedule your travel plans with free cancellations. Their platform also makes it easy to communicate with hotels for questions or any special requests.
Booking.com also features pictures of each room so you can know exactly which room you are booking. This is particularly useful for booking at bed and breakfasts or boutique hotels where each room is unique!

Flights
For flights, we use Google Flights to find the best flight deals! You can search across all airlines and easily compare prices for different arrival and departure days. You can even set up price drop alerts.
We generally book flights directly through the airline or through our credit card travel portal to earn the most credit card rewards points.
Rental Cars
For rental cars, we use Discover Cars for international travel. With Discover Cars, you can search across rental car providers and easily compare prices for different dates and pick up and drop off locations.

Tours & Activities
For tours and activities, we generally use Viator. From walking tours and food tours to cooking classes and more, Viator has it all! Viator also makes it very easy to be flexible in your travel plans with free cancellations.
For those who like to plan in advance, Viator also has a great option to book now and pay later.
